Necromancy sim game

Necrosmith is a premium adventure game by developer Alawar Premium. It's a deck-building fantasy RPG wherein players are necromancers that will learn how to create undead creatures. They'll be using different body parts they can find from the remains of anyone or anything that trespasses on their domain.

Just like in Undead Horde, Necrosmith lets you join the dark side and be the "bad guy" for a change. Players can utilize pretty much any body part they have lying around to bring life to all sorts of undead abominations. They can also produce some from within their tower.

Life to the undead

Necromancers have always had a bad image for being who they are. The business of bringing the dead back to life is a pretty sketchy proposition, after all. There is a certain art and nuance to the whole fare that can be rather enticing—the power to control life. That is exactly the notion this game is tapping into and letting you experience firsthand.

In Necrosmith, you reside atop your dark tower, looming over your domain. It also serves as a place to produce raw materials artificially with necro labs and create techno-magic devices to power up your undead army. As for your legion, you can pretty much recruit any kind you want, from skeletons to elementals and even robots. Come up with the best combination of attacks and attributes for battle.

Once you're satisfied, you can then venture out and explore more than a dozen biomes to battle various creatures, as well as to look for new body parts and materials. As for the overall gameplay experience, just be aware that there is a bit of a difficulty curve here since it basically requires you to do some level of micromanaging, or else you end up with a fragmented army.

Hard to lead the undead

Overall, Necrosmith strays from the norm and offers an interesting experience that lets you be the necromancer and experiment with the laws of nature and life. You can create anything you want as long as you have the parts for it, and it's a lot of fun to mess with. You'll need to keep an eye on them all, but you'll get used to it in no time.

  • Pros

    • Fun and devilish premise
    • Virtually limitless creation possibilities
    • Multiple biomes to explore
  • Cons

    • Slight difficulty curve

Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
